Registered Nurse Per Diem - Pediatric General Surgery

SUMMARY: The OR Nurse is accountable for providing competent nursing care for patients with common health problems, and is expected to deliver competent patient care to a full patient assignment. This position practices under the direction of the designated nurse executive, within the scope of the Nursing Practice Act, and in accordance with Valley Children's Hospital policies.

REQUIREMENTS: This position requires graduation from an accredited nursing program with a Bachelor's degree preferred. Candidate must possess a valid California RN license (or be in the process of obtaining a California license). HeartCode BLS required within 30 days of hire or transfer into position. Minimum one year experience in an OR required. Pediatric nurse experience preferred. Bilingual skills are preferred.

POSITION DETAILS: Per Diem, must be available for a minimum of 2 shifts per pay period. Must also be available for a one-week clinical orientation upon hire. On-Call shifts and weekends/night coverage are required on a rotating schedule as needed.

PAY RANGE: $42.65 - $70.38
