The Dental Assistant provides support to the Dental Service located at the VA Western New York Health Care System. Incumbent serve at the full performance level with the ability to perform full range of duties with some independence under indirect supervision from treating dentist. Provides direct "chairside" clinical assistance, performs auxiliary clinical tasks, and clerical functions independent of direct supervision. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
