The Maurice H. Kornberg School of Dentistry is seeking applicants for a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position and Program Director of the Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) Residency Program. Rank will be determined based on academic credentials.
Primary responsibilities will be conducting a thorough reorganization and revitalization of the School's AEGD program, including the didactic and clinical curriculum and requirements to ensure ADA/CODA compliance, the operation of the clinic to ensure the highest standard of patient care, operational efficiency, fiscal health, and resident recruitment. In addition, the AEGD Program Director will also be responsible for teaching dentistry both clinically and didactically and for providing direct patient care within any clinic of the school as needed.
The ideal candidate will have experience working within or directing an AEGD or other similar residency program. Experience working with special needs patients is highly preferred.
Pennsylvania license or eligibility for full, unrestricted licensure in PA is required. A certificate from an accredited General Practice Residency or Advanced Education in General Dentistry program is also required.
