| WEST VIRGINIA – Robert C. Byrd Health Sciences Center West Virginia University School of Dentistry – General Practice Residency, Director The West Virginia University School of Dentistry is seeking applications for a full-time, clinical or tenure track faculty position at the assistant or associate professor level to serve as Director of the hospital-based General Practice Residency (GPR) Program. The position will begin July 1st, 2021. Responsibilities include the advanced training of residents in all facets of general dentistry, administration of the program including the selection and evaluation of residents, meeting reporting requirements of the School of Dentistry, Commission on Dental Accreditation, and other entities. The Director reports directly to the Chair of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and works closely with the Associate Dean for Clinical Affairs and other administrators. The Director also provides direct patient care in both outpatient and inpatient settings, as well as serving in a supervisory capacity. The Schools of Dentistry, Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, and Public Health are part of the Robert C. Byrd Health Sciences Center Campus located in the historic community of Morgantown, West Virginia. Located only 80 miles south of Pittsburgh, Morgantown is easily accessible to major metropolitan areas in the East and Midwest. It has been named one of the best small cities in the United States. The West Virginia University School of Dentistry contains specialty programs for Endodontics, Periodontics, Prosthodontics, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and Orthodontics.
