The Temple University Maurice H. Kornberg School of Dentistry is seeking applicants with DMD, DDS, or equivalent for a full-time appointment as tenured or tenure-track associate professor or professor and chair of the Department of Periodontology and Oral Implantology. The dental school is known for its excellence in clinical education and patient care and is highly innovative.
Candidates must have or be eligible for either full licensure to practice dentistry or a teaching license in Pennsylvania along with documented excellence in didactic and clinical teaching and funded research. In addition, candidates must demonstrate a record of leadership, administrative, and organizational skills with the ability to manage complex curricular and clinical issues to lead the department in an active phase of growth and change. Candidates must also have experience in new pedagogical methods including patient-centered and evidence-based oral health care. Candidate with research funding or on track for funding will be preferred provided thy meet the other qualifications.
Salary and academic rank will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
